Brett Cooper Opens Up About Daily Wire Exit and Hints at Underlying Tensions
Well, well, well, it appears that Brett Cooper has finally given her first in-depth interview about her departure from the Daily Wire. In a recent conversation with Shawn Ryan, which has already garnered significant attention, Cooper offered some insights into her decision.
From our perspective, Cooper navigated the interview with remarkable grace, especially considering what we believe were numerous opportunities to be more outspoken. While she did make a pointed comment about Jeremy Boreing’s firing on social media, the broader picture suggests that her exit wasn’t entirely amicable and that her relationship with Boreing likely played a role.
During the interview, Cooper alluded to being “ready for something different” and feeling a sense of complacency despite her success and the impact of her work at the Daily Wire. She expressed a desire for “more freedom”, hinting that the structured environment may no longer have been the right fit for her aspirations.
Making the move to go independent was clearly a significant leap of faith for Cooper. She described it as a decision that involved considerable “thinking and praying and analyzing”, emphasizing the inherent risk of leaving a successful platform to start anew. This wasn’t a decision taken lightly, and she acknowledged the possibility of things not working out. However, her passion for sharing stories and connecting with people ultimately outweighed those concerns. She stated that her drive comes from a desire to “make people think differently about the world” and to help them feel “less alone”, regardless of the size of her audience.
Interestingly, the interview also touched upon the transition within her own community, specifically regarding the comments section of her content. When asked about her “Maid of Honor,” Reagan, taking over, Cooper’s response suggested underlying tensions. While she stated she “would say so” when asked if they are still friends, she also acknowledged that “adult friendships are really hard”. The exchange hinted at a potential falling out, with Cooper noting that with increased public attention, one starts to question people’s motives. When directly asked if she felt disloyal, Cooper offered a diplomatic response, emphasizing that everyone has to make decisions that are best for themselves and their families. Despite wishing Reagan success, the interaction left the impression that there was some “legit Bad Blood” stemming from this situation.
Ultimately, while Cooper chose a diplomatic approach in her interview, it’s clear that her departure from the Daily Wire was a multifaceted decision, likely influenced by a desire for greater autonomy, a feeling of stagnation, and potentially interpersonal dynamics. We commend Brett Cooper for taking the high road and wish her the best in her independent endeavors. Let us know what you think the real reasons were in the comment section below.

All I can say is that I’m disappointed that Brett has left the fold. I guess I can understand that…especially if Jeremy was rude or flippant about her performance. I really loved your performance in the comments section of the Daily Wire, Brett. Will you host a similar show in the future? Or…are you moving on? If you do a comment show again, keep it short and sweet. A long drawn out topic is just that…long and drawn out….stay away from that. I may be 92, but I still love your Personna.
