According to HypeBeast:

The gaming network G4 has returned seven years after it shuttered in 2014. The revamped network debuted today, November 16, streaming on Verizon Fios, Cox, Xfinity TV and Philo. It also has a YouTube channel and multi-year commercial partnership with Twitch.

In its announcement of the relaunch last month, G4 said that its upcoming programming would be “produced and delivered through a first-of-its-kind 24/7 broadcast studio,” located in Los Angeles.

The network plans to deliver about 30 hours of new streaming content each week, in addition to reruns of TV show segments and on-demand content, running all hours of the day. Some of the old G4’s shows have been revived, such as Xplay and Attack of the Show! New additions to the lineup include an esports comedy called Boosted and a celebrity guest-fronted series about Dungeons & Dragons.

In an interview with VentureBeat, G4 president Russell Arons said that the relaunch had been in the works for over two years and described G4 as the “first entertainment network to legitimize gaming as a lifestyle.”

“If you want to reach today’s youth culture, you have to do it through the lens of gaming and fandom,” Arons said to VentureBeat. “So we’re coming back at a time that couldn’t be more celebratory around this very elusive audience.”

G4 is now streaming on YouTube, Twitch and on some cable TV providers.
