A furious liberal resident boasted about berating ICE agents during an ’embarrassing’ raid at his apartment building where a migrant mom accused of child abuse also lives.
The neighbor, who did not give his name, described how he was awoken at 6:15 am on Sunday by ‘aggressive’ knocking at the door of his home in Alexandria, Virginia.
Officers said they were searching for someone going by a Hispanic name he did not recognize.
‘I told them that they should be ashamed of themselves, that they were breaking up families, that what my government was doing was embarrassing and they are embarrassing our country,’ the man told NBC Washington, despite public sentiment that seems to be leaning toward support for the raids.

The apartment complex that was raided is also home to Wedni Del Cid Rodriguez, 46, who has been charged with child cruelty, abduction and neglect.
Rodriguez and her partner, Franklin Viera Guevara, 29, are accused of chaining up her two young sons, ages 7 and 9, while they left them unattended in the home.
Police were called to the residence after the 9-year-old managed to get ahold of a cellphone and dialed 911.
When officers arrived, they found the boys in handcuffs chained to a table near where they slept.
The couple were arrested last year, but Rodriguez was released back into the community pending trial. Her partner was held without bond.
They reportedly told investigators they chained the boys up for ‘short periods’ of time in an effort to ‘scare them’ into not leaving the home.
It is not clear who the Sunday raid was targeting and if Rodriguez was among those apprehended. DailyMail.com has contacted ICE for more information.
‘I fully expected to see Fairfax County police at the door. Instead, I saw a group of men. It was at least four, but I think it was more, decked out in what I would describe as, like, tactical gear,’ the neighbor added.
Doorbell camera footage shows the officers sporting jackets which bear the acronym for ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations.
‘I asked them, ‘Hey, if you have a warrant, it’s for a specific apartment. Are you knocking on everyone’s door?’ I kind of reiterated some of the concerns,’ the resident said.
‘The individual who seemed to be in charge threatened to lock me up — asked me if I wanted to be locked up; that would be more accurate.’
Other neighbors told how their children were left terrified by the dawn raid.
