Instant Regret! Woman Who Fled ‘Racist’ America For Africa Now Begging To Come Back
We’ve often heard the declarations: celebrities and various social justice figures vowing to leave the United States because of perceived oppression or dislike of the political climate. But here’s a truly hilarious tale of that plan spectacularly backfiring. A woman who chose to flee America, claiming the country was oppressive and had significant issues with her race, is now reportedly desperately begging to come back from Africa.
This individual, who left what she referred to as “racism in America,” appears to have found that life elsewhere presents its own set of significant challenges. The stark contrast between her expectations and the reality she encountered has led to this rather remarkable reversal.
Her reasons for wanting to abandon Africa and return to the U.S. are illuminating. She states she would “rather go back to America and deal with the racism in America” than remain in Africa dealing with “the b*******” she’s encountered.
Her list of complaints is quite something:
- Robbery, fraud, and scams
- Things being too expensive (Wait, too expensive in Africa?)
- Not having snacks or food (Apparently, a lack of Teddygrams is a significant factor)
- Unreliable electricity and hot water (She noted power didn’t come on for 14 hours, unlike in America where it only goes out if you don’t pay the bill, and can be restored quickly with prepaid electricity)
- Animals and scorpions outside the house (Lizards and spiders are apparently big and getting into the house. Though, honestly, seeing turkeys, ducks, and chickens sounds kind of awesome, even if they are accompanied by malnourished cows).
- People trying to scam you when you go outside, thinking you are rich
It’s almost hard to believe that someone would prefer to deal with what they characterize as racism over the lack of snacks or the inconvenience of unreliable power. She planned to open businesses, including a dentist office, but now wants to bring those ventures back to America.
The idea of pervasive racism in America she fled from seems particularly questionable when you consider the advantages available. Black women are among the most educated individuals, often at the forefront of job and college applications and promotions within major companies. They receive scholarships and, statistically, possess “every conceivable advantage in the world”. In fact, even the poorest black individuals in the U.S. are reportedly wealthier than the majority of black people globally; black folks in America are the richest on the planet.
She also seems to contradict herself, claiming she “love[s] the people” when outside, yet immediately following that by detailing how they try to scam and rip her off. If people are constantly trying to bribe and scam you, you simply do not like those people.
This situation mirrors a curious trend we’ve observed with other figures like Rosie O’Donnell, who considered a move to Ireland, and Ellen DeGeneres, linked to the UK. It’s noteworthy how individuals who champion woke causes, immigration, and diversity seem to consistently choose to relocate to countries that are significantly more white than America. Rosie O’Donnell is also apparently finding life in Ireland “hard” and considering a return, perhaps claiming it’s to “fight Trump” when the reality is likely missing the amenities and conveniences of the U.S.. Historically, back-to-Africa movements originating from the U.S. have not ended well.
Credit should be given for her actually following through and moving, unlike many who just talk about it. But it is truly hilarious that after seemingly inventing racism as a reason to leave America, she faces relatively minor inconveniences like power outages elsewhere and makes a video declaring how terrible that country is. Hopefully, her return will bring a new perspective, demonstrating that perhaps things “ain’t so bad here” after all.
