According to One Take News and The Cosmic Circus, Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated Disney+ series Ms. Marvel will reportedly start filming its scheduled reshoots and additional photography later this month in Atlanta.
simultaneously for two weeks. Reshoots are said to start on January 24 and will continue until February 28. While the content of the reshoots remains largely shrouded in mystery, it’s certainly not a quick session. No delay is expected for the Disney+ show.
Ms. Marvel will be led by newcomer Iman Vellani in her acting debut as Kamala Khan. Set to launch this summer, the Disney+ series also marks the live-action debut of the fan-favorite Marvel character.
“The series introduces Kamala Khan—a 16-year-old Pakistani American from Jersey City,” reads the official synopsis. “An aspiring artist, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she is a huge fan of the Avengers—and one in particular, Captain Marvel. But Kamala has always struggled to find her place in the world—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to.”
