You won’t believe the unhinged meltdown we’ve seen from a university professor literally putting their hands on a student simply for wearing a Make America Great Again hat in her own classroom. And the fallout? Massive! The Trump administration is stepping in, saying enough is enough, and is freezing funds to these woke universities.
It’s been a while since we’ve had a good, old-fashioned woke freakout, and let me tell you, this one does not disappoint. This professor felt so “disrespected” by a hat that she demanded the student remove it. When he rightly questioned her, pointing out there’s no rule against it, she escalated, physically touching his hat and even him. Can you believe it? She actually laid hands on a student because she didn’t like his hat! As we said in the video, that’s assault, plain and simple.
But the story doesn’t end there. The Trump administration has clearly seen enough of this radical woke nonsense on college campuses. They are taking action, and it’s hitting these universities where it hurts: their wallets. We’re talking about over a billion dollars in federal funding frozen to Cornell University and another 790 million for Northwestern University. The reason? Potential civil rights violations.
Now, here’s where it gets even more interesting. Apparently, both Cornell and Northwestern were already on a list of 60 colleges warned by the Department of Education about losing federal funding for not adequately addressing anti-semitic discrimination and harassment on campus. While I have my own issues with infringing on First Amendment rights, especially in the name of protecting specific groups, the fact remains that these universities seem to be hotbeds of the kind of woke ideology that leads to professors assaulting students over political apparel.
And it’s not just Cornell and Northwestern facing the music. The Trump administration previously paused over a billion dollars to Brown University following their “failed response” to bad behavior after October 7th. We’re also seeing federal funding under review for universities like Penn, Columbia, Washington University, Princeton, and Harvard, all facing similar concerns. Columbia University even had over $400 million in federal funding revoked earlier this month.
But wait, there’s more! The Trump administration is also sewing panic at California universities by revoking over 100 student visas. California State University confirmed 36 current and former students had their visas revoked, and the University of California said 50 students and recent graduates had their visas voided. As we discussed in the video, maybe it’s time we took a serious look at who we’re allowing into this country on student visas, especially when some seem more interested in spreading radical ideologies than getting an education.
Look, folks, the situation on these college campuses is out of control. They’re being captured by Chinese money, DEI initiatives, and seem to have a singular focus on radicalizing woke left-wing students. While I might not agree with the stated reasons for all this defunding – particularly when it touches on free speech – I can’t say I’m shedding any tears for these institutions facing financial consequences for the chaos they’ve allowed to fester.
