I don’t know what else to say. Best Buy this is an embarrassment. You should have a system in place already to better serve your customers.
BestBuy.com was experiencing problems as shoppers hoping to buy a PS5 or Xbox Series X flocked to the website.
Best Buy announced yesterday that it would be releasing the highly coveted next-gen consoles sometime after 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday, though did not provide a specific time. Shortly after 9 a.m., however, the website seemed to crash.
When trying to access the Best Buy website, customers were met with: “We’re sorry, something went wrong. You can use our search bar or pick a category below. If you typed in a URL, check it for errors.”
Searching for the PS5 at Best Buy allowed users to open the PlayStation 5 product page which said “Coming Soon” or “Out of Stock.” However, users were also met with the following message: “Sorry, it’s crowded in here! Give us a few minutes to make some room. Please check back soon.”
