Stop giving Disney your money maybe forever. This is actually insane.
Staff are apparently being grilled with intrusive questions about whether they have “been raped”, if they have “frequent flier miles” and even whether their parents are heterosexual.
The trove of unconfirmed information was leaked to, and published on Twitter by self-proclaimed ‘rabble-rouser’ Christopher Rufo.
The writer claimed to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that “Disney’s white male executives patronize their hourly-wage workers with ‘white privilege’ checklists and equality of outcomes lectures”.
But a Walt Disney spokesperson rejected his allegations, telling the Sun Online: “These internal documents are being deliberately distorted.
“Their purpose was to allow diversity of thought and discussion on the incredibly complex and challenging issues of race and discrimination that we as a society and companies nationwide are facing.
“The Disney brand has a long history of inclusivity.”
Rufo announced on Twitter that he had scored a ‘scoop’ and published the documents he claimed had been leaked to him.
He alleged: “The Walt Disney Corporation claims that America was founded on systemic racism, encourages employees to complete a ‘white privilege checklist,’ and separates minorities into racially-segregated ‘affinity groups’.
“I’ve obtained internal documents that will shock you.
“According to a trove of whistleblower materials, Disney has launched a ‘diversity and inclusion’ program, called ‘Reimagine Tomorrow’.”
