HUGE CHANGES ANNOUNCED: HHS GUTTED, NPR & PBS FACING DEFUNDING, NEW TARIFFS HIT!
What’s going on everyone? We’ve got some massive news to break down that we’ve been anticipating, and it looks like the wheels are finally in motion. The cuts have begun, and one of the big ones we’ve been watching closely is Health and Human Services. You know, the department that was constantly pushing the jab? Well, it’s just been announced that at least 10,000 employees are set to be fired in a major restructuring effort.
Secretary Robert F. Kennedy announced on Thursday that HHS plans to reduce its staff from 82,000 to 62,000 full-time employees. This will be achieved through 10,000 layoffs, with the remainder through buyouts. This is a dramatic move, with Kennedy stating the goal is to consolidate more agency functions under his purview. The current 28 divisions will be consolidated to just 15, and the 10 regional offices will be reduced to five.
Furthermore, a new Administration for Healthy America will be created, with Kennedy coordinating chronic care and disease prevention programs. The aim is not just to reduce bureaucratic sprawl but to realign the organization with its core mission of reversing the chronic disease epidemic by focusing on safe food, clean water, and eliminating environmental toxins. While acknowledging this will be a painful period for those at HHS, Kennedy claims this consolidation will make the department more accountable to the American taxpayer and patient. We wholeheartedly agree! This overhaul is projected to save taxpayers $1.8 billion a year.
The Staffing Cuts won’t stop there. According to an agency fact sheet, the FDA will decrease its workforce by 3,500 full-time employees, though the administration claims this won’t impact drug or medical device reviews. The CDC will also see a reduction of 2,400 employees, with a focus on preparing for and responding to epidemics and outbreaks. These agencies have definitely been bloated, and while we sympathize with those losing their jobs, this kind of streamlining is necessary.
But that’s not all! As we’ve been calling for, Trump is now urging Republicans to defund NPR and PBS. We 100% support this! These publicly funded outlets have become completely biased and are simply pushing leftist propaganda. Why should our tax dollars go towards that? A former senior business editor for NPR, a 25-year award-winning journalist, even highlighted the overwhelming political bias at NPR, noting an instance of 87 registered Democrats in editorial positions compared to zero Republicans. When questioned about this, NPR couldn’t even deny tracking those numbers.
The bias is clear, from their coverage of the Trump-Russia story, where they heavily relied on Trump’s antagonist Adam Schiff, to their dismissal of the Hunter Biden laptop story as not being a “real story”. Even a state-funded NPR executive has explained that “truth is a distraction”. Enough is enough! If they want to push this kind of content, they should find their own funding.
Finally, new tariffs are being rolled out, with up to 25% tariffs on vehicles. While this might cause some unease, remember the goal here is to bring more jobs back to America and to negotiate with countries that don’t allow us to export our cars freely. We’ve seen American companies leave for places like Mexico for too long. It’s time to make things in America again!
These are significant changes, and while there might be some short-term bumps, we believe these actions are ultimately in the best interest of the American people. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
