Woke PANIC As Pride Loses 90% Of All Funding Nationwide! Corporations ABANDON Pride Celebrations!
Amidst discussions about tariffs and other major news, a significant victory against the woke machine has quietly taken place. This machine, in my opinion, seeks to target America’s youth and inundate them with various forms of propaganda to convince them to “join their team”. We are happy to report that Pride has gone broke. They got woke, and now they are broke.
Frankly, for a long time, we never had any problem with Pride events or celebrations when they were for adults. We’ve even attended some. But then, starting around 2020, 2021, 2022, things changed. Suddenly, Pride seemed to decide they needed kids at these events, believing you have to “start them young”. It’s our opinion that you can’t convince a 14-year-old to have a double mastectomy unless you plant that seed when they are eight or nine. We also believe society has incentivized the creation of more members of this community through algorithmic reasons like TikTok, financial incentives, social media attention, and other ways to get dopamine hits. We don’t believe many of these individuals ever truly were members of this community. If you disagree, just ask Jojo Siwa how she realized she wasn’t a lesbian anymore. This isn’t a controversial take anymore; people have seen the science.
The impact of this shift is becoming clear. Corporate sponsors are now backing away from LGBTQ+ and Pride organizations. This comes after Pride groups went after the kids, a move that made people much less happy. Many LGBTQ+ groups are now facing six-figure sponsorship deficits for their annual celebrations. Some pride festivals across the country have seen significant sponsorship challenges this year, losing partners that collectively provided six-figure donations. This has forced organizations to modify their plans, seek other funding sources, and reconsider their dependence on corporate dollars.
Several major Pride celebrations in the country have lost sponsors to the tune of $200,000 to $350,000 per event. If you look nationwide, this extrapolates to millions of dollars leaving this “grooming pipeline,” in our opinion. Some smaller, rural Pride events report being down 70% to 90% compared to previous years. This means 90 cents of every dollar that used to pour into these festivals, which we believe had the sole purpose of grooming kids, are no longer coming in.
Companies mostly cite economic concerns for pulling back. However, Pride groups also acknowledge seeing a hostile political climate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Some pride organizers claim companies fear being targeted by the Trump administration over participation in DEI initiatives. In turn, Pride organizations are seeking clarity on whether corporate values still align with theirs. We don’t think they align at all. Companies that were once loud and proud supporters are now pulling back.
Are they only doing this for financial reasons? It’s almost like most of us have been saying that for 20 years. When you’re running one of these organizations and getting mad about companies pulling out, ask yourself why they supported you in the first place. They supported you because it was profitable, not because they cared about the LGBTQ+ community or DEI. We think the real reason companies are speaking with their dollar is that it suddenly became less profitable to invest in what they see as “nonsense”. Many agencies and organizations likely felt bullied or forced into providing this money previously. Now they have a scapegoat to get out.
We’ve seen specific examples, like the Kennedy Center cancelling a week’s worth of events celebrating LGBTQ rights for the summer’s World Pride festival in Washington D.C.. Artists and producers involved in the Tapestry of Pride schedule were told their events were quietly cancelled or moved after “Trump’s takeover”. The Washington Capital Pride Alliance has even disassociated itself from the Kennedy Center. Seattle Pride, for instance, is facing a $350,000 funding gap. To make up the difference, groups like Pride St. Louis are launching grassroots fundraising campaigns, essentially “begging for money” after major sponsors like Anheuser-Busch, Target, and Bud Light pulled funding. Pride organizers are expressing frustration, with one executive director stating, “We will remember those who stood by us and who didn’t”. We see that as a threat. They were fine when support was politically popular, but are mad now that it’s unpopular. This just proves their support was only politically expedient.
Beyond corporate money, we’ve seen government funding involved, too. We know through USAID funding that money was being sent globally to fund things like “trans orchestras” or “trans comic books” in places like Colombia. In our opinion, the government should not be funding Pride events. We also don’t want federal funding for straight pride, black pride, or white pride. The government should stick to building roads and protecting our borders.
Tens of millions of corporate dollars were rolling into these organizations. The loss of 90% of funding nationwide is absolutely bonkers. Pride is collapsing nationwide, and we are absolutely here for it.
