So, new information has surfaced, and it’s a bombshell. The family of the accused has publicly stated they won’t be using the $400,000+ they raised, supposedly for their kid’s legal defense, for that purpose. Instead, they’re apparently going to use it to secure a new house and hire security because people have been saying mean things. Now, considering Carmelo Anthony is walking free, one might think he already has all the protection he needs, but there’s more.
According to a new report, the family didn’t even pay their son’s bail!. It turns out the entire bail amount was covered by someone else. Isn’t that odd? What was the almost half a million dollars raised for then? We thought it was for the bail fund. And make no mistake, this is just the beginning of the money that will likely flow to this family as they try to spin this as some kind of Kyle Rittenhouse situation.
Then comes the news that the family has moved into a massive $800,000 home. Initially, people were saying they rented it, which, conveniently, might have been on the advice of counsel to protect it from potential future lawsuits from the victim’s family. If they bought the house and lost the upcoming wrongful death suit that seems likely, that house could become an asset they’d lose. Renting would shield it. This information comes via Sarah Fields and Dominique Alexander, a felon who runs a questionable organization and is acting as Carmelo Anthony’s “family advocate”.
Speaking of who paid the bail, Dominique Alexander stated that a man named Corey Tony, owner of No Limit Bail Bonds, provided the entire bond amount for the 17-year-old. A quick search into Corey Tony reveals he has his own history of resisting arrest. This “pastor,” as he claims to be, has also reportedly shared misinformation about the case on social media. So, right now, they have half a million in cash and are living in an $800,000 house, allegedly for safety. But here’s a question: we’re hearing the kid already lived in a gated community. So where exactly are they moving that’s more secure?
Dominique Alexander even posted a thank you after the bond hearing and the reduction granted by Judge Alangela Tucker. Let’s remember, Kyle Rittenhouse had a $2 million bond. They’re trying to compare this case to Kyle’s, but Kyle, at the very least, had clear video evidence suggesting self-defense. Here we have a 17-year-old facing serious charges with a significantly lower $250,000 bond. Some might say there’s a disparity there.
Look, if they have credible threats and need some level of safety to relocate, that’s one thing. But an $800,000 home? Full-time private security? It seems excessive. And leasing everything to protect assets from the victim’s family later? Well, it seems like someone’s thinking ahead.
Carmelo Anthony’s own father revealed that the raised funds were indeed supposed to be for legal defense but now says it should be used for security and to help the family move after alleged threats following the killing. The prosecutors even questioned why the donated funds couldn’t be used for the original $1 million bond, which would have only cost $100,000 through a bail bonds company, leaving $315,000 for legal fees. The judge, however, didn’t ask for proof of these threats, as far as we know.
The family’s spokesperson said they couldn’t stay because their address was leaked, leading to threats. While we don’t doubt people send awful things online, we’ve seen this kind of story before where the claimed threats don’t always materialize.
Meanwhile, Carmelo Anthony is reportedly free, possibly enjoying video games and cable TV in a very nice home, with hundreds of thousands of dollars completely unregulated in how it’s spent. If this is the left’s new Kyle Rittenhouse, let’s remember Kyle had a $2 million bond, was also 17, and arguably not a flight risk either.
People like CJ Pierce are rightly asking how Carmelo Anthony, who took a young man’s life, is walking free in Texas. It’s a question many are asking, especially when you consider how different the reaction would likely be if the races were reversed. It’s a disgrace that someone could allegedly commit such a crime and seemingly become wealthier because of it, thanks to social justice groups and BLM supporters.
This whole situation is ridiculous and, mark our words, it’s only going to get crazier. Thanks for tuning in, and we’ll keep you updated on this developing story. Don’t forget to check out our coffee brand Mother’s Day gift box on Amazon – link in the description. We’ll talk to you again soon.
